Hello, my name is Jul Alvarez. I have been working at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana as a full- time Physical Therapist for 11 years and still counting.
As a Physical Therapist my main objective is to help our residents gain their prior level of mobility. Ripley Crossing has a wide coverage of Geriatric Care level and because of that I am challenged performing my duty to Evaluate, Treat, and Set a long term program to make sure that every individual that requires therapy will function at their highest level as possible.
I consider myself as a lucky one for the reasons of: Proud to belong to a high rated nursing facility. I work with staff who are helpful and have great compassion. The fun part of my job is, I am privileged to bring my furry buddy to work with me every day. His name is Jack, he is an 11 year old tri- mix Poodle, Maltese and Shih Tzu. He likes to hang around, play tug of war, play throw and fetch, walk along or even ride on the resident’s walker during their walking exercise. He can put smiles on everyone’s faces with his presence. Next time you’re around come and visit us!
