I always knew I wanted to be a nurse, it runs in my family! I started my nursing career at Ripley Crossing in 2010.
I love coming to work every day and know that I’m making a difference! I enjoy everything about being a nurse although at times it can be very difficult and emotional but at the end of the day you know you have made a change in someone’s life!
As a child my mom worked in long-term care and I can remember visiting the residences with my mom. Now I have my own daughter and every time we drive by work we stop in so she can visit. You could say it’s a tradition that has carried on and it’s something that she also loves to do!
I love working at Ripley Crossing because they treat me like an individual, they respect and truly appreciate their staff. When you walk down the halls at Ripley Crossing you’re always greeted with a smiling face whether it be a co-worker or by resident. We really work as a team here and it shows in our residence care! When I am not working I love the outdoors and spending time with my family. We enjoy camping Hunting Fishing and riding ATVs!
