I have been at Ripley Crossing since 2012. I started out in the Admissions Office. I have worked in the Activities Department for five and a half years.
In my past I said I could never work in a nursing home. My mother had dementia and was in a nursing home. It was very hard to see my mom like that. Now I see things in a much better way.
My job is to help make the residents day fun, but it is them that truly make my day! I truly enjoy entertaining “my “residents. They are the best. This is definitely a fun and rewarding job. I wouldn’t want to work at any other place than Ripley Crossing. This is the best nursing facility anywhere. I’m proud to be a part of making the residents day a little more fulfilling here.
